Its been a full week, and neither hide nor hair has been seen of Mas Selamat Kastari.

For those who are not familiar with the story, i.e. have been living in an enclosed tunnel, Mas Selamat Kastari, an infamous JI leader, escaped Singapore custody and is still on the run. He escaped last Thursday.

When he escaped, the only thing we citizens were told was that he was out of custody and they were looking for him in the western parts of Singapore. They also stepped up the security in points leading away from the island.

But they did not answer one very important question. How the hell did he manage to get out?

I heard that his family was visiting him, and he made his break for freedon when he asked to go to the toilet. He was not under guard as he was releiving himself, which I find extremely stupid. And cliche.

MM Lee said something about this being a problem of complacency. Thank you, Pointdexter.

But why has he been able to elude capture for so long?

Its said that he's still in Singapore, since there was no proof that he had left the country.

ice skating is not for me.

mich and her friend already knew how to skate, so no biggie. but lighto and i were complete n00bs. i fell over a coupla times, landed badly on my wrist and now it hurts. kinda.

lighto crashed landed on his left arm, which hurt the rest of the day. even moving it slightly made him yelp. @_@

after our disasterous attempt at ice skating we headed down to suntec for some refreshments+walking around. the caramel icecream at pepper lunch really rocks :P altho kinda sweet. luckily, i have a sweet tooth ._.v

went walking around some more, and decided to have early dinner. funny thing was, we wanted to have early dinner but we spent an age deciding on where to eat...and ended up having dinner at around 7.

dinner was probably the most enjoyable part of the whole day, although they kept poking fun at what i was eating. we laughed so much during dinner it was amazing we managed to finish it in under an hour. lighto kept staring at my plate (because my dinner resembled...something very very wrong) and i almost cortar en rectar-ed him with my knife.

i had to go home after dinner (blasted curfew ArGh) but at least i had fun :X

this holidays aint as good as the previous ones... cuz my dad is at home restricting everything i do. i cant wake up at 9 and play GE til 6 anymore D:

went for the so-called gala premiere of Chang Jiang7 yesterday.

saw several local celebs, like patricia mok, jonathan leong, the guy from 'the noose' and other assorted actors/actresses.

coolest bit was...SEEING STEPHEN-FREAKING-CHOW. funny dude. he went up to the front of the theatre before the movie started, and cracked some jokes with the emcees, including one where he said he watched the movie over a thousand times, and if he watched it again he'd vomit.

the show itself wasnt too bad. i wont spoiler for those who are gonna go watch the show, but safe to say its pretty funny and surprisingly touching, although slightly predictable.

ah well. schools out for a coupla days now (for me,bwahahaha...poor kyle,cartman and kenny :/) and all i've been doing is rot at home. well, with my dad here i cant exactly rot 100%, so i'm like, 50% rotting, 50% listening to him/doing housework.

to be honest, i'm kinda worried about the upcoming java test. how does one study for something that is either you geddit, or you suck at it. i passed the previous assestments, but this one is bound to be tougher. dang.

anyway.

i dont know myself, but i wonder how others perceive me. what kind of person do i seem like to others? i really have no idea. i've always tried my best to "be myself", but i realise i behave differently with different people. i guess its my way of adapting to others to be more "friendly".

i've heard comments that i seem very arrogant. thats probably because i look down on people-literally. hey, i didnt ask to be this tall. : i also hear that i'm very "dao". if i had to chose a phrase to describe myself, i'd say "retarded until funny". what do you guys think?
